Stephenie Meyer isn't a literary genius by any stretch of the imagination, but she still tells a good story. And I am hopelessly addicted to the first three books in the Twilight series, especially New Moon. But Twilight is good, too. Dang Stephenie Meyer! Why are her stories so addictive? I still can't figure it out. I don't even like Edward and Bella (*gasp*).
I'm sorta spazzing out here. Sort of. Really, I'm more excited about the night out more then anything...okay, I'm lying, I'm totally excited about the movie.
Here's to hoping it sucks (pun intended)!

I admit to being excited in spite of thinking it might be dumb. Like, really, in the previews he looks mad at some times when I did not at all picture him being mad. ugh.
I'm debating about reading the book again (just the first) before Friday. It's not like it takes that long. What do you think? I'm afraid of it making the movie less likely to be good or I'm afraid of not reading it and remembering things wrong and being unjustly frustrated with the movie.
Heather, I'm thinking it might be dumb, too. Like, really dumb. Actually, I've spent the last few weeks convincing myself that it's going to be super horrible. That way, if it's bad, I won't be incredibly disappointed.
And I've decided to NOT read the book before seeing the movie

BTW, I don't think Robert Pattenson (sp???) is attractive. At all. Not even a little. Especially in this movie.

actually i am no going to lie penny i in fact am NOT excited about the movie coming out and will hopefully not have to see it. the only thing twilight has done for me is make people give me dirty looks when i admit that yes i did read the books but no i do not think they were in any way anything close to amazing. i was better off before i read them because then people didn't hate me :( hopefully by not seeing the movie i will not gain more enemies.
and no i am not in a bad mood and taking it out on twilight. you have always known my feelings about the books and i am just a very open honest and blunt person.
